بِسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya.

In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

Alhamdu lillahi-lladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur.

All praise is due to Allah who gave us life after causing us to die, and unto Him is the resurrection.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna.

In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ

Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah; there is no power or strength except through Allah.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Bismillah.

In the name of Allah.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فِي أَوَّلِهِ وَآخِرِهِ

Bismillahi fi awwalihi wa akhirih.

In the name of Allah at its beginning and its end.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Alhamdu lillahilladhi at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana muslimeen.

Praise be to Allah who fed us and gave us drink and made us Muslims.

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

Dhahaba adh-dhama'u wabtallatil-'urooqu wa thabatal-ajru in sha' Allah.

The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba'ith.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the male and female devils.

غُفْرَانَكَ

Ghufranak.

I ask for Your forgiveness.

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Allahummaptah li abwaba rahmatik.

O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik.

O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh. Allahummaj-'alni minat-tawwabeena waj-'alni minal-mutatahhireen.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. O Allah, make me among those who repent and make me among those who purify themselves.

رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Rabbi-rhamhuma kama rabbayani sagheera.

My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small.

اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا

Allahumma sayyiban nafi'a.

O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.

اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً

Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla, wa anta taj'alul-hazna idha shi'ta sahla.

O Allah, there is no ease except in what You have made easy, and You make the difficult easy if It is Your will.

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Rabbi zidni 'ilma.

My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

Subhanalladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqaliboon.

Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, though we were unable to conquer it by ourselves. And surely, to our Lord we shall return.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ كَسَوْتَنِيهِ، أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ مَا صُنِعَ لَهُ

Allahumma lakal-hamdu Anta kasawtanihi, as'aluka min khayrihi wa khayri ma suni'a lahu, wa a'udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suni'a lahu.

O Allah, praise is to You, You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good of what it was made for, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajeem.

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ

Allahummaghfir lahu warhamhu wa 'afihi wa'fu 'anhu.

O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, pardon him, and grant him peace.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ

A'udhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhir.

I seek refuge in Allah and in His power from the evil of what I feel and of what I fear.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

Astaghfirullahal-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyumu wa atubu ilayh.

I seek the forgiveness of Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustaining, and I repent to Him.

لاَ بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

La ba'sa, tahoorun in sha' Allah.

Do not worry, it is a purification, if Allah wills.

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabran wa tawaffana muslimeen.

Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims.

جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا

Jazakallahu khayran.

May Allah reward you with goodness.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni.

O Allah, You are Forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Bismillahi-lladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Aleem.

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

Allahumma 'afini fi badani, Allahumma 'afini fi sam'i, Allahumma 'afini fi basari, la ilaha illa Ant.

O Allah, grant health to my body. O Allah, grant health to my hearing. O Allah, grant health to my sight. There is no deity worthy of worship except You.
