Al-Ikhlas

قُلۡqulSayهُوَhuwaHeٱللَّهُl-lahu(is) Allahأَحَدٌaḥadunthe One

qul huwa l-lahu aḥadun

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺;

ٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahٱلصَّمَدُl-ṣamaduthe Eternal, the Absolute

al-lahu l-ṣamadu

Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺.

لَمۡlamNotيَلِدۡyalidHe begetsوَلَمۡwalamand notيُولَدۡyūladHe is begotten

lam yalid walam yūlad

He has never had offspring, nor was He born.

وَلَمۡwalamAnd notيَكُنyakunisلَّهُۥlahufor Himكُفُوًاkufuwanequivalentأَحَدُۢaḥadunany [one]

walam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥadun

And there is none comparable to Him.”
