At-Tin

وَٱلتِّينِwal-tīniBy the figوَٱلزَّيۡتُونِwal-zaytūniand the olive

wal-tīni wal-zaytūni

By the fig and the olive ˹of Jerusalem˺,

وَطُورِwaṭūriAnd (the) MountسِينِينَsīnīnaSinai

waṭūri sīnīna

and Mount Sinai,

وَهَٰذَاwahādhāAnd thisٱلۡبَلَدِl-baladi[the] cityٱلۡأَمِينِl-amīni[the] secure

wahādhā l-baladi l-amīni

and this secure city ˹of Mecca˺!

لَقَدۡlaqadIndeedخَلَقۡنَاkhalaqnāWe createdٱلۡإِنسَٰنَl-insānamanفِيٓfīinأَحۡسَنِaḥsani(the) bestتَقۡوِيمٖtaqwīminmould

laqad khalaqnā l-insāna fī aḥsani taqwīmin

Indeed, We created humans in the best form.

ثُمَّthummaThenرَدَدۡنَٰهُradadnāhuWe returned himأَسۡفَلَasfala(to the) lowestسَٰفِلِينَsāfilīna(of the) low

thumma radadnāhu asfala sāfilīna

But We will reduce them to the lowest of the low ˹in Hell˺,

إِلَّاillāExceptٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoءَامَنُواْāmanūbelieveوَعَمِلُواْwaʿamilūand doٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِl-ṣāliḥātirighteous deedsفَلَهُمۡfalahumthen for themأَجۡرٌajrun(is a) rewardغَيۡرُghayruneverمَمۡنُونٖmamnūninending

illā alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti falahum ajrun ghayru mamnūnin

except those who believe and do good—they will have a never-ending reward.

فَمَاfamāThen whatيُكَذِّبُكَyukadhibukacauses you to denyبَعۡدُbaʿduafter (this)بِٱلدِّينِbil-dīnithe judgment

famā yukadhibuka baʿdu bil-dīni

Now, what makes you deny the ˹final˺ Judgment?

أَلَيۡسَalaysaIs notٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahبِأَحۡكَمِbi-aḥkami(the) Most Justٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَl-ḥākimīna(of) the Judges

alaysa l-lahu bi-aḥkami l-ḥākimīna

Is Allah not the most just of all judges?
