Micro TafsirIn the Quran, *Hā'ulā'i* is used when directly addressing or referring to present groups of people—such as believers, disbelievers, angels, or communities. It frequently appears in dialogues and scenes of testimony on the Day of Judgment.
Memory Hook*Hā'ulā'i* is simply the plural form of *Hādhā* (this) and *Hādhihi* (this). When you have a group of people near you, you point to them with *Hā'ulā'i* ('these people').

An-Nisa (4:41)
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَىٰ هَٰؤُلَاءِ شَهِيدًا
So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad] against these [people] as a witness?
